The Rome Festival of Speed was born in Vallelunga in 2012, the third weekend of March. A container to accommodate all track day participants, historic car clubs and modern car clubs. Ferrari, Lotus and Porsche, sports brands, shared a large part of the timed shifts on the track. Historic Clubs like Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth, Fiat, Bmw and Modern Clubs such as Volkswagen, Audi, Corvette and others, exhibited in the paddock. Shows, models, vip and entertainment for everyone, big and small. In the 2013 edition, 500 cars went down the track and 5000 paying people attended the show. Two editions in the Summer Edition version, at the end of July, have always been successful by the number of participants on the track. After a three-year period in 2014, the jumping to a higher level, both organizational and quality of the participants was curbed by a nifty. The weather in the later years in that period was always rainy, climate change has sanctioned the end of the event. Moving it to another time of year would not have been the same success.
